PostPilot ("we", "our") is an AI-powered tool that helps you create and schedule posts for LinkedIn and X (Twitter). This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (handled by our auth provider).
• Profile data: profession, industry, and preferences you set in the app.
• Content: post drafts, scheduled posts, and ideas you save.
• Connected accounts: when you connect LinkedIn or X, we store tokens to post on your behalf; we do not store your social passwords.
• Usage: we may log errors and basic usage to run and improve the service.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the service: creating and scheduling posts, generating content with AI, publishing to LinkedIn and X when you choose, and personalizing your experience (e.g. industry trends). We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services

We rely on the following services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase: database and authentication (hosting and securing your account and content).
• OpenAI: AI-generated post content (your ideas and profile context are sent to generate text).
• LinkedIn & X (Twitter): posting and, where available, reading engagement (only when you connect your accounts).

5. Cookies and storage

We use session and authentication cookies (and similar storage) so you can stay signed in and we can secure your requests. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your data in line with our retention practices and applicable law.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your profile and content from the app. You can disconnect LinkedIn and X at any time from Settings. If you are in the EEA, UK, or certain other regions, you may have additional rights (e.g. data portability, objection, restriction). Contact us to exercise them.
